If they mentioned a particular phone that they think they can surpass, they should mention it. But Samsung and Apple as a whole is going to be hard to beat. posted on 14 Dec 2012, 09:42 0 17. I used to work for Samsung in Best Buy, and they teach you to bash the other brands. In fact, that's all my marketing lead wanted us to do rather then try to gain customers by telling them actual facts about the phone. When iPhone was at it's peak people were lining up to buy one, if you went through some back channels and ended up with a Galaxy S then that is your problem for being a sucker. I recently replaced my ancient but trusty Samsung i730, which was running WM 2003, with its shiny new successor, an i760 running WM6. But it was big and clunky and heavy and not very pretty. I had seen the i760 (Figure A) at the Verizon booth at CES last January and wanted it ever since, but the supposed release date "sometime in the summer" came and went with no sign of it.Figure A The Samsung i760 Windows Mobile 6 Professional edition phoneMeanwhile, I envied those folks with sleek, slim phones and for several months, I even seriously considered buying an iPhone.
